This week’s theme: Golden Nuggets of Parent Wisdom

At every Youth Mental Health First Aid training, parents and carers fill a board with their golden nuggets, the best advice they’ve been given or learned along the way. This session we share some of that wisdom, from listening and connection to filling your own tank.

Bring a nugget of your own, and leave with one to carry into the week ahead.

Every parent needs to feel supported, informed, and less alone, especially when things get hard.

EPIC Online Meet Ups bring together parents and carers of young people aged 12 to 25 for connection, real strategies, and hope. Facilitated by parents who've walked this path themselves, each session is a reminder that you don't have to do this alone.

What to Expect

• A warm space where you're free of judgement and truly heard

• Each session explores a topic that matters to parents of young people

• Practical strategies from parents who've been there

• Guest speakers who bring fresh perspective and real insight

• Sessions are not recorded, so you're free to speak openly

• Time to reset, regulate, and reconnect with your own wellbeing

• Join however feels right for you. Cameras on or off, always welcome
