A community of like-minded arty types, creating side by side.
EPIC Creatives grew organically out of our peer parent community of parents and carers of young people. It's a space to connect with each other, away from everyday challenges, through something creative and shared. We are a community of like minded arty types. Painters, drawers, sewers, photographers, ceramicists, knitters, crocheters and more.
How we create:
In person
Saturday afternoon get togethers are starting in September at the Lindfield Senior Centre (dates below). Just bring yourself and whatever you're working on. No bookings, no experience needed. This is a first off pilot enabled thanks to Ku-Ring-Gai Council support with the venue. Come along! Bring yourself, a friend, something to fiddle with/work on……
The group also gets together to visit art galleries and exhibitions.
On WhatsApp, between sessions
The EPIC Creatives WhatsApp chat is where the community lives day to day. It's where members organise events, catch ups, get togethers and share works in progress, swap tips and techniques, and keep each other posted on what's happening in the creative scene, exhibitions, workshops and opportunities worth knowing about.
