EPIC Peer Phone Support - What’s on offer?
EPIC Peer Phone Support offers a listening ear, a warm heart, and a safe, anonymous and nonjudgmental space to talk, ask, cry, laugh. EPIC Peer support workers have lived experience with teens in crisis and use their ability to put on their own oxygen mask on as an inspiration for others. It provides information relating to EPIC community connection and available resources to parents and carers who are experiencing a stressful time with their teen. They offer support, guidance and provide inspiration.

A peer parent with lived experience of a young person in crisis
A compassionate listener who will empathise with your challenges
Youth Mental Health First Aid training
Knowledge of to date resources and information relating to teen and parent support
Connection with the EPIC community
Someone prepared to share their own journey if appropriate
